Gravure Printing
Gravure Printing
Gravure printing is a type of letterpress printing that expresses delicate tints and shades, and is used not only for printing photographs, but also for packaging films and printing on electronics-related materials. Recently, it is also used for printing medical-related materials, for which high quality control is required.
Environmental monitoring is necessary because contamination of the printing environment or adhesion of foreign matter can directly lead to abnormal printing quality. In addition, printing plate quality also determines gravure printing quality. In the laser plate making process, which is suitable for reproducing small characters and complex designs, foreign matter adhering to the minute indentations of the plate forming the figure will cause printing defects, so contamination control is also necessary.
Particle Sensing Monitor can be installed near the plate making equipment to monitor the air cleanliness of the surrounding environment and foreign matter (contamination), thereby helping to reduce the defect rate.
